16TH International Festival
LUCI DELLA RIBALTA
August 18-27, 2026 | NARNI (TR) UMBRIA
PRESIDENT ANAÏS LEE'S LETTER
Welcome to the 16th International Festival "Luci della Ribalta," organized by the Associazione Mozart Italia - Terni branch, affiliated with the prestigious International Stiftung Mozarteum of Salzburg, in collaboration with the Municipality of Narni and with the support of the Fondazione Carit. The festival will take place in Narni from August 18 to 27, 2026, and once again it will be not only an unmissable musical event but a true celebration that will enliven the buildings and streets of Narni,
alternating concerts, improvisations, and tastings. The audience, who have been following the event in large numbers and enthusiastically for years, will rediscover some of the artists who have enchanted them in previous editions, as well as many new musicians and internationally renowned ensembles, including Aron Chiesa, principal clarinet soloist of the Orchestra della Scala; Martina Santarone, Misia Iannoni Sebastianini, Vladimir Bogdanovic, and Antonino Fiumara, members of the
prestigious Werther Quartet; pianists Michelangelo Carbonara and Natasa Sarkevic; Carlo Maria Perazzoli, concertmaster of the Orchestra dell'Accademia di Santa Cecilia; and Patrick Judt, violist, professor at the Bern University of the Arts, and co-director of the ECMA.
New this year is the participation of the Papillon Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Simone Genuini, permanent conductor of the Juni Orchestra of the
Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, and soprano Silvia Pasini of the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma.
Throughout the Festival, impromptu performances will take place in the streets, churches, courtyards, and halls of the palaces. These performances will offer the talented young musicians participating in the masterclasses, many of whom come from abroad, a stimulating opportunity to engage with a passionate and knowledgeable audience.
As always, the music festival will be enriched by tastings of local wines and products, as well as interesting workshops.
In conclusion, I would like to thank everyone for their attention and tremendous support: the audience, guests, collaborators, supporters, institutions, and staff. For this sixteenth edition, my hope is to transport you into a spell of sounds and images, capable of bringing us all together, through the indelible mark that only art can represent.
