Natalia Lomeiko

Born into a family of musicians in Novosibirsk, Russia, Natalia has established herself internationally as a versatile performing artist. Having won numerous prizes in Tibor Varga, Tchaikovsky, Menuhin, Stradivari International Violin competitions; in the year 2000 she received the Gold Medal and the 1st Prize in the Premio Paganini International Violin Competition (Genoa, Italy) and the 1st prize in the Michael Hill International Violin Competition (Auckland, New Zealand) in 2003.
Natalia studied at the Specialist Music School in Novosibirsk with Prof. A. Gvozdev, at the Yehudi Menuhin School in England with Lord Menuhin and Prof. N. Boyarskaya, at the Royal College of Music and the Royal Academy of Music with Prof. Hu Kun and currently lives in London.
Since her debut with the Novosibirsk Symphony Orchestra at the age of seven, Natalia performed as a soloist with many orchestras, such as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Lord Menuhin, the Philharmonia, the Singapore Symphony, the New Zealand Symphony, the Auckland Philharmonia, the Christchurch Symphony, the Tokyo Royal Philharmonic, the New European Strings, the Moscow State Chamber Orchestra, Melbourne Symphony, Adelaide Symphony, St.Petersburg Radio Symphony, the Nice Philharmonic, the Russian State Philharmonic Orchestra among many others.
Natalia has collaborated with such distinguished conductors as the late Lord Menuhin, Lionel Bringuier, Werner Andreas Albert, Matthias Bamert, Arvo Volmer, Olari Elts, Sir William Southgate, Vladimir Verbitsky, Christian Knapp, Miguel Harth-Bedoya, Eckehard Stier, Mikhail Gerts, Marios Papadopoulos, Valery Poliansky, Pavel Kogan and many others.
In 2001 Natalia recorded the Three Grieg Violin Sonatas with pianist Olga Sitkovetsky for the DYNAMIC label to a high critical acclaim. Her recital in Cremona on Paganini's violin was recorded live on FONE and released in 2003. Her CD of French Sonatas with pianist Olga Sitkovetsky has been released on Trust Records in 2004; the Strad described it "... a stunning recital". Her CD with husband violinist/violist Yuri Zhislin was released in 2011 on NAXOS. Her latest CD of Prokofiev’s music on ATOLL label has been released in 2013 and met with 5 star reviews.
Natalia has performed extensively as a soloist and chamber musician in such prestigious venues in London as the Wigmore Hall, the Purcell Room, the Kings Place, the Queen Elizabeth Hall, the Buckingham Palace, the Barbican and the Royal Festival Hall. She has performed chamber music with such distinguished musicians as Gidon Kremer, Yuri Bashmet, the late Boris Pergamenschikov, Tabea Zimmerman, Dmitry Sitkovetsky, Schlomo Mintz, Daishin Kashimoto, Natalie Clein, Nicholas Daniel and many others. She has appeared on numerous Radio and TV broadcasts and toured the Great Britain, Italy, France, Germany, Finland, Russia, Poland, Spain, the USA, Brazil, Puerto Rico, Argentina, Singapore, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
Natalia Lomeiko has been appointed a Professor of Violin at the Royal College of Music in London in 2010 and has been a Leader of Oxford Philomusica since 2011.

Il violoncello di David Eggert e i tasti del pianoforte di Nataša Šarčevič pronti a dare vita a melodie e suoni a metà tra libertà e furore. David Eggert è un giovane violoncellista canadese con una promettente carriera internazionale. Noto per la presenza scenica dominante e l’interpretazione brillante, affronta con creatività il repertorio classico pur dando prova di un forte impegno nei confronti della composizione musicale contemporanea. Dopo le esibizioni in Europa e Nord America, l’artista  è acclamato come un talento del futuro. Eggert ha conquistato il primo premio e cinque menzioni speciali al Concorso Internazionale di Violoncello “Antonio Janigro” di Zagabria, e ha ricevuto un premio onorario al Concorso Internazionale Naumburg di New York. Nato a Edmonton nel 1985, Eggert ha studiato con Tanya Prochazka che lo ha seguito  per tredici anni. All’età di 16 anni, ha conquistato il primo premio sia alla Canadian Music Competition che al National Music Festival suonando in un quartetto d’archi, e si è esibito in Canada come primo violoncello della National Youth Orchestra of Canada.  Natasa Sarcevic, pianista, docente di pianoforte principale al London College of Music, University of West London, si e' diplomata al'Universita' delle Arti di Belgrado (FMU) con il massimo dei voti nella classe di pianoforte della Maestra Jokut Mihailovic. Ha continuato gli studi presso la Hochschule fuer Musik und Darstellende Kunst a Francoforte con Maestro Lev Natochenny, ed al Royal College of Music a Londra con Maestra Irina Zaritskaya ed Alexandra Andrievsky.  A diciassette anni ha tenuto il suo primo Recital a Belgrado, considerato dalla prestigiosa rivista NIN uno dei migliori dieci concerti della stagione concertistica. Primo premio anche al Concorso di Beethoven del LCM a Londra, al "Victor Hoddy" a Londra, al "Petar Konjovic" ed al concorso "Olga Mihailovic", Natasa e' stata descritta come "la studentessa con il piu' grande talento della sua generazione". Da quel momento ha dato concerti in numerosi festival internazionali in Italia, Austria, Germania, Spagna, Portogallo, Olanda, Slovenia, Croazia, Latvia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Russia, Brasile e Regno Unito. Da quando si e' trasferita a Londra nel 2001, ha dato concerti in prestigiosi luoghi come Wigmore Hall, St. John's Smith Square, St. Martin in the Fields, St. James's Piccadilly, Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Barber Institute of Fine Arts, London Arts Fest, Paxton House Festival. A parte del suo repertorio da Bach a Schnittke, durante gli ultimi anni si e' dedicata in maniera particolare al repertorio solistico lisztiano ed alla musica da camera di Brahms.
