Heloise Geoghegan will be the teacher of one of the violin masterclass from 20th to 27th August during the 6th International Masterclasses Narni 2016.
Described by Franco Gulli as a great talent, Héloïse Geoghegan made her debut at the age of 16 recording Saint-Saens’ violin concerto No.3 with the RTE Concert orchestra of Ireland.
In 2010 she made her American debut at Carnegie Hall in New York, and soon after at the Wigmore Hall in London.
After completing a 2-year scholarship to study in Florence at the ‘Scuola di Musica di Fiesole’ . where she specialised in chamber music performance with the critically acclaimed Trio di Milano.
She also completed a Master's degree in Classical String Performance at The University of Limerick in Ireland, where she was Artist in Residence with the Trio Bellatrix.
M° Geoghegan has a great passion for chamber music and has played with internationally renowned artists such as Mariana Sirbu, Bruno Giuranna, Phillip Moll, Tatjana Masurenko, Christian Giger and the Kronos Quartet, giving concerts at major venues, including the Theatre des Champs Elysees in Paris, Wigmore Hall in London, Casa da Musica in Porto, the Schumann Haus, the Mendelssohn Haus, Leipzig…
Heloise has also taken part in important festivals such as the West Cork International Chamber Music Festival, Gstaad Festival, Festival de Saint Denis, Festival of Lake Como, Suolsalmi in Finland, Ponte de Lima Festival, Toscana Classica and the Festival of the Pontine Sermoneta.
