Sandra Belić graduated under André Navarra cum laude of University in Vienna. She also studied with Daniel Shafran, Siegfried Palm, Boris Pergamenchikov. Sandra is particularly thankful for musical inspiration to Mme Natalia Gutman. Belić toured throughout Europe, Israel and Japan. As a soloist she performed with “Liszt Ferenc” Budapest, Radio Brussels, “Musica Viva” Moscow and all ex-Yugoslav orchestras.
Belić was first to perform concertos by Jolivet, Sir John Tavener and N. Borenstein in YU and Serbia. Recordings for BBC,RAI, Kitanihon TV (Japan). She performed at the festivals in Europe, including Great Britain, Russia and famous “Prague Spring” and in Japan. Sandra gave master classes in Kiev (Ukraine)“Tchaikovsky” Conservatory, Milano Conservatorio “Verdi”, Cremona ESTA, Narni (Italy), Toyama (Japan), Freiburg Music University (Germany). Her CD featuring sonatas by Beethoven and Schubert was released n Japan in 2010.
Sandra Belić is full time professor at the University of Music in Belgrade. The live recording of Handel’s Concerto for two cellos (with her student N. Stankovic) was highly recommended by leading USA classics radio station “Performance Today”.
